As reported here, we have just learned that our dear friend and colleague Nikos Nikolaidis has died.Nikos was the director of SINGAPORE SLING. An amazing film that we at Synapse Films are very proud to have released in the U.S. The film was a problematic one that took us, literally, years of hard work to restore properly. Nikos was extremely happy with our results (our transfer rivaled the original Greek release). Jerry and I are extremely saddened by this news.The cause of death is reported as pulmonary edema.
R.I.P. Nikos. You will be missed.

That's terrible! In 1996, I worked extensively with Nik on the Singapore Sling web page! He was gracious and generous, and was delighted that somebody really enjoyed his film! I hope to one day see his GO TO HELL MY DARLING!
