Synapse Has a New Friend! John Waters Does a Commentary for Us!

I'm very happy to report that cult director (and one of the coolest guys alive) John Waters has recorded a commentary for us! John is a big fan of Lewis Jackson's Yuletide Shocker, CHRISTMAS EVIL, and he recorded us a commentary for the film (with Lewis Jackson, too) in Baltimore a few weeks ago.

This picture, sent to us by another amazing cult director we've worked with, Jeff Lieberman, from the set of his "Till Death Do Us Part" pilot episode, shows John and Jeff behind-the-scenes. Jeff is sporting a fabulous shirt, don't you think? :)

Our CHRISTMAS EVIL release should be out this November... just in time for Christmas. Details will follow soon, but our transfer was created from one of the ORIGINAL cuts of the film, when it was called YOU BETTER WATCH OUT! It contains some really cool alternate footage and scenes deleted from the original theatrical release.
